As any Gilmore Girls fan knows, the gazebo is the ultimate Stars Hollow romantic destination. Luke’s Diner may be coffee heaven and Miss Patty’s Dance School may be the hotspot for town drama, but true love—and occasionally Kirk–is found at the gazebo. As the site of Luke and Lorelai’s legendary picnic in Season 2 and then their wedding in the Netflix revival, the gazebo is the ultimate romantic spot for the series’ most iconic couple.

Taking a cue from the beloved show, one man decided to propose to his Gilmore Girls superfan girlfriend at *the* actual gazebo on the Warner Bros. lot.

Molly Larimer told Mashable she initially thought she and now-fiancé Sebastian were just on a regular tour of the studio lot; little did she know he’d been planning this spectacular proposal for months. She revealed that under the guise of doing a Gilmore Girls “improv scene,” she and Sebastian found themselves on the gazebo—where he surprised her by popping the question.

“We got to the Stars Hollow area and our tour guide had everyone get out of the tram and go walk toward the gazebo,” Larimer told Mashable. “We got up to it, and the guide asked us all if there were any big Gilmore Girls fans in the group, and my fiancé and I both raised our hands. Then the guide asked us to go onto the gazebo to do an ‘improv scene.’ When we got up onto the gazebo, Sebastian told me that we were there for another reason, and he got down on one knee.”

Larimer added on Twitter that the ring box Sebastian proposed with belonged to her grandmother. Dean, Jess, and Logan, who? Fine, this is totally a move adult Jess would make, and we approve.

We hope the couple celebrated their engagement in true Luke and Lorelai fashion—with a toast on the gazebo. Congrats, Molly and Sebastian!
