Sure, actually watching the football game during the Super Bowl is fun, but let’s be real: the commercials are the real star Super Bowl Sunday. In fact, it’s probably the only night of the year viewers willingly pay attention to the breaks in between the main event. Super Bowl ads are known for being super expensive (at about $5 million for 30 seconds air time), celebrity-packed, and either very funny or genuinely moving. The sad ones are good, yes, but the ones that make us laugh definitely come out on top. If you missed them airing live, you have to watch the funniest 2018 Super Bowl commercials now.
Maybe you just want to relive them for a second time, or you want to catch up so that you don’t fall behind with your pop culture references, we have a list of some of the funniest ads of the night. The only thing we wish we could change is their length — some of these are so good that we actually wished the commercial breaks could be longer! In fact, some of these are so hilarious that they might even rival the famous half-time show. How can you pay attention to who’s winning or losing when these ads are getting all the attention?!
