It seems like the Fuller House cast made a shout-out to Lori Loughlin during their Kids' Choice acceptance speech
While accepting the Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite Funny TV Show, the cast of Fuller House seemingly made a shout-out to Lori Loughlin, a.k.a. Aunt Becky. Loughlin, who stands accused of fraud in the newly uncovered largest college admissions scandal the U.S. has ever seen, allegedly paid $500,000 to guarantee her two daughters’ admission into USC. She and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, turned themselves in on March 13th.
Although Loughlin, along with at least 30 other parents, will likely face serious punishment for their crimes due to the unwavering evidence against them, Loughlin’s Fuller House family seems to be sticking by her side.
"A loving family sticks together no matter what," Candace Cameron Bure said at the KCA's podium on March 23rd while accepting their award. "They stick together through the hard times, they support each other, they encourage one another, they pray for each other, and they stand by their side no matter how tough it gets."
Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin also thanked fans for sticking with them for over 30 years. Their upcoming fifth season of Netflix’s Fuller House will be the show’s last. Netflix has yet to comment on Loughlin’s return (the season has not started filming yet). With a trial ahead of her, it’s safe to assume Loughlin will most likely not appear in the final season.
