Flippin’ your fins, you don’t get too far, but you could get a really cool free drink. Fancy juice joint Pressed Juicery is giving away free mermaid juice on Thursday, March 29th — aka International Mermaid Day — in honor of Freeform’s new series Sirens, and it sounds so delicious that you’re definitely not going to want to miss out on this freebie.
According to Adweek, the limited-edition drink — aptly named Mermaid Fuel — is “a delicious and hydrating blend of maple water, lemon, blue algae, mint, and maple syrup.” That sounds like quite a combination, but somehow, we have a feeling it’s delicious. Maple syrup? Yum. Lemon? Yum. Mint? Yum. Blue algae? Um… we’re not sure about that ingredient, but it really makes the drink seem more authentic, doesn’t it?
Plus, it’s probably the closet thing to what real mermaid fuel would be, right? They probably subsist on, like, tiny sea creatures and ocean water, but we’re not going to think about that. This stuff sounds way better… and after all, it is free.
And the best news of all: The free mermaid juice is available at all 68 Pressed locations, as long as supplies last.
Here’s a photo of the drink from Pressed’s Twitter. Looks seriously magical, right? Ariel would be so into this:
Whether or not you plan to tune into Sirens, if you’re a huge fan of mermaids, this is definitely something you want to get in on.
Swing by Pressed, grab your fuel, and then go brush your hair with a fork. Sounds like the perfect afternoon to us.
