A fourth woman has accused Ed Westwick of sexual assault
According to Us Weekly, Haley Freedman, a stylist, filed a police report on Wednesday, March 28th stating that Westwick raped her. An unnamed source confided that she “came prepared with evidence including personal medication information from her doctors to back up her claims against Ed Westwick.”
The source continued, “The police report will remain confidential since there is private medical information that Haley handed over. Haley plans on meeting with prosecutors next week and is fully cooperating with authorities.”
We stand with Freedman, who is not the first to come forward against Westwick. The first allegation came in November of 2017. Actress Kristina Cohen accused Westwick of raping her at his home in 2014. She said her ex-boyfriend, a producer, brought her to Westwick’s home. He later pressured her into staying silent about the attack. In a since-deleted tweet, Westwick denied knowing her at all.
A second victim, Aurélie Wynn, came forward only days later with a similar allegation.
Westwick responded to both allegations with another since-deleted tweet.
Shortly after that, a third victim, Rachel Eck, came forward.
Several days after Wynn’s reveal, Eck recounted to BuzzFeed how Westwick once sexually assaulted her in a hotel room in 2014. According to Eck, her producer ex-boyfriend (who happens to be the same producer ex-boyfriend in Cohen’s story), took her to Westwick’s apartment. There, the actor tried to kiss her and later groped her.
Westwick has not responded to Freedman’s allegation. His lawyer reportedly has a no social media policy, according to Us Weekly. The LAPD is investigating these claims.
We stand with Freedman and all of the victims of sexual assault. You are not alone.
