Fendi's $990 scarf looks like a vulva, because #fashion
If you have about $1,000 to spend on an accessory that embodies both #fashun and sexual anatomy, then you are in for a real treat. Italian luxury brand Fendi is selling a fur scarf that looks like a—wait for it—vulva. Yes, a vajayjay. Down to the peachy, pink shade (specifically called Rosewood).
Online retailer Farfetch has the scarf on its website for £750 (or about $990 in U.S. dollars). Unfortunately, the Rosewood shade is already sold out, because there’s a strong market for fashion accessories that resemble vulvas, apparently. According to the website, the scarf is “crafted from fox fur and a silk-wool blend,” and it includes a “fur trim and signature FF motif design.”
Farfetch also notes that the item can’t be shipped outside of the European Union at this time, meaning non-European enthusiasts of the scarf will not be able to get their hands on the accessory just yet. However, the scarf is available in a blue and red version on Fendi’s website. Of course, there’s not much fun in those options.
Take a look at the Fendi scarf below.
It certainly doesn’t leave very much to the imagination.
At least Twitter got a good laugh out of Fendi’s scarf. We found some of the best tweets.
The blue and red scarves are still available to shop on Fendi’s website for $990.
