Fans think Stranger Things is ending because of Millie Bobby Brown's tearful Instagram post
Could 2019 bring us our very last foray into Hawkins, Indiana? That’s a question Stranger Things fans have begun grappling with after seeing some particularly emotional Instagram posts from Millie Bobby Brown.
Season 3 of filming for the beloved Netflix series ended this week, and the cast has been pretty torn up about it. In her Instagram Stories, Millie Bobby Brown teased her impending tears as she went in for her final day on set, later sharing an actual picture of herself crying. The actress also posted an emotional goodbye with Sadie Sink to her feed. “As we said goodbye, i gave my best friend the biggest hug and told her i loved her so much. My sister forever @sadiesink_”.
While Brown might just be super bummed to leave her Stranger Things family until filming for an eventual Season 4 begins, there’s a chance she could be referring to, like, forever goodbyes. Netflix has yet to officially announce whether a fourth season is a go, so there’s always the potential that this is the end. As fans know, Stranger Things was pitched to Netflix as a limited series, during which Eleven and Joe Keery’s Steve Harrington were supposed to die. Thankfully, those plans were scrapped, and the Duffer brothers have said the series could go on for at least four or five seasons.
In an, ahem, emotional post to Instagram of his own, David Harbour said a fond farewell to Chief Hopper’s Season 3 mustache.
Gaten Matarazzo also snapped a shot of his post-wrap haircut.
Hopefully, Brown was just having a moment and her tears don’t mean anything significant about the series as a whole. Because honestly, three seasons just isn’t enough for our Stranger Things-loving hearts.
