Best. Husband. Ever. Little did Bobby Wesson know that his Facebook post,  a love letter to his wife would go viral,  be liked by almost 500,000 people (and counting), and shared over 130,000 times.

On Nov. 7, Wesson, of Gardendale, Alabama, took a picture of his sleeping wife, Rayena, who was cuddled up with their young son, Deacon, before she had to get up and go to work.

This was Bobby’s love letter to his superhero wife, in full:

Once the Internet got wind of the post, they not only fell in love with Bobby’s tribute to his wife, but with Rayena, too. Here were some of our fave Facebook commentators. Nice to see lovers out there, for a change, instead of haters.

I think people crushed on the post because of Bobby’s heartfelt admiration for Rayena as both a wife and trauma nurse, and his commitment to giving her the public recognition she deserves. After all, don’t we all just want to be appreciated even when we think no one’s looking? Bobby’s note about his wife is for all the nurses out there, and he reminded us how grateful we should be for medical personnel like Rayena.

Chances are, we all know a nurse, doctor, or someone in the medical field. When’s the last time you thanked them for the work they do? And even regarding nurses, doctors, CNAs, and other hospital workers we don’t know too well, when’s the last time we sent them a thank-you note for helping us through that bad bout of food poisoning or walking us through the first time we had to spend the night in the hospital and were scared out of our minds?

Of his post, Bobby said, “I typed this with my thumbs in less time than it took to brew the coffee I referenced.” Awww. Further proof that saying thank-you doesn’t have to take long. It’s just a matter of doing it.

In light of Bobby’s post going viral, on Nov. 14, he thanked the Internet via Facebook.

Did that last line get you like it got me? As though we needed another reason to love how supportive Bobby is of his wife. Excuse me while I bawl my eyes out.

Apparently, Bobby’s been getting a lot of private messages since his Nov. 7th post. So, he decided to make this video for his admirers. (Watch till the end for a cool twist.)

Like all healthy relationships, having a sense of humor is important, and it looks like Bobby and Rayena definitely have that. Hooray for a beautiful marriage!
