Evan Rachel Wood just clapped back hard at a fan who suggested she can't act on "Westworld"
Evan Rachel Wood is many things. She’s an outstanding actress, an accomplished model, and an amazing singer. She is *NOT,* by any means, an incompetent performer, and she knows it. So when someone on the internet who presumably doesn’t have anything better do with their lives took a jab at her acting abilities, Wood clapped back so hard, the troll probably got whiplash.
On Sunday, April 29th, when the latest episode of Westworld was airing, a Twitter user questioned Wood’s acting talent. “Why is Dolores still the only ‘robot’ on #Westworld without a personality?” the troll asked. “Oh. I know why. It’s because @evanrachelwood can’t actually act anything but 2 emotions.” Um, I don’t know, hater, maybe because she literally plays an android on the show?!
To be fair, the user only said this because they wanted Wood to “do better,” but the actress got wind of the tweet anyway, and responded with a series of (now-deleted, but obtained by BuzzFeed) perfect comebacks, explaining what it takes to star in a hit TV show like Westworld.
She ended her clapback by posting a video of her character, Dolores, riding a horse, and saying: “So I am just gonna keep doing what I’m doing because its working out pretty good for me and I thoroughly enjoy it.” “Byyyyyeeeeeeee!”
Damn, girl! Now that’s how you shut down a troll!
You can now catch Evan Rachel Wood and her *phenomenal* acting on season 2 of Westworld, airing Sundays on HBO at 9 p.m. ET.
