Our girl Drew Barrymore had to do one of the scariest tasks known to celebrities — appear on James Corden’s “Spill Your Guts Or Fill Your Guts.” The game, which is a staple on The Late Late Show, requires guests to either reveal (very) personal information or eat something super gross. Barrymore did a little bit of both during her appearance.

Barrymore, who was on show to promote the new season of The Santa Clarita Diet, wasn’t alone in her challenge — John Boyega also helped out. The menu included items such as fish eyes, giant water scorpions, thousand-year-old eggs, and spam smoothies. Ugh.

Barrymore’s first question was about her talk show appearances. Since she’s such a kind soul, she couldn’t say whether Jimmy Fallon, Ellen DeGeneres, or Stephen Colbert was her least favorite show to do…so she had to drink bird saliva.

But when it came to revealing which of her three past male co-stars was the least talented — out of Jake Gyllenhaal, Adam Sandler, and Hugh Grant — she chose Gyllenhaal.

To be fair, it was either ranking them or eating a turkey testicle. We can’t really blame her (it happens at about 8:09)…

Gyllenhaal and Barrymore worked together on 2001’s Donnie Darko (which Barrymore helped produce). Gyllenhaal was only 21 years old at the time, meaning he’s known Barrymore for the majority of his career.

Plus, it wasn’t like she said he was the least talented of all time — just out of those three insanely talented choices! We’d have done the exact same thing, Drew.

We’re sure Jake Gyllenhaal understands. As for the turkey balls, they didn’t go uneaten — Corden was forced to dive into one during his last question. *Shudders forever.*
