Ready or not, LA, it’s happening. On Tuesday, Donald Trump rolled into town for the first time since 2006, and let’s just say it’s getting people frustrated for more reasons than one. The visit is causing major downtown LA street closures, which means tons of traffic for everyone who lives there and is trying to get around the city. And just as you might suspect, plenty of those people are turning to social media to vent.

Traffic is basically a given any time a president or major public figure visits a city, because not only are they visiting, but so is their motorcade — and streets are usually blocked off for security reasons.

That’s exactly what’s causing the downtown LA street closures right now, and to say that people are unhappy about it might just be the understatement of the year.

According to an announcement from the Wilshire Grand, where Trump is reportedly staying, roads in a two-block radius are shut down, including Figueroa Blvd. between 6th and 8th streets, Wilshire Blvd. between Flower St. and Beaudry Ave., and 7th St. between Flower and Bixel Sts.

That’s a lot of streets, y’all — and a lot of displaced commuters.

And if you check Twitter to see what people are saying about it, well… it’s rough.

Plenty of locals are pissed that Trump is in town at all (and social media has revealed a lot of plans for protests), so the traffic and downtown LA street closures that are happening thanks to his visit aren’t exactly helping his case in already-gridlocked Los Angeles. Basically, if you live or work in DTLA and can stay home today, you should, because it’s not pretty out there.

If you live in LA and need more updates on the situation, the Los Angeles Times will be sharing live updates on the street closures continually through the day. And if you’re driving, well… try not to use your horn that much. Everyone else is frustrated, too.
