Donald Glover, a.k.a Childish Gambino, took home his first Grammy at the January 28th Grammy Awards. The Grammy officially joins his two Emmy Awards, which he won for his FX show Atlanta. With these statues under his belt, Glover is on his way toward joining the EGOT club, made up of performers who have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. However, Glover noted that he isn’t “aiming” for an EGOT or even an Oscar any time soon, when asked about it by reporters after the Grammy ceremony.

If Glover did rack up all four major awards, he’d join the likes of Audrey Hepburn, Mel Brooks, and Whoopi Goldberg.

Glover’s win under the pseudonym Childish Gambino was bittersweet, because he plans to retire his alter ego in the near future.

Although we’ll miss Childish when he’s gone, we can’t wait to see what Glover does next. The actor is slated to star as Simba in the live action Lion King, so we already have something to look forward to.
