We already know that Disney World (or land, if you’re on the West Coast) is the most magical place on earth. But Disney’s cruises are equally magical, and as if we needed any more reason to want to set sail, Disney Cruise Line just announced the dates for its 2018 Halloween on the High Seas cruises.

According to a press release, these special, spooky cruises will take place from September 3rd until October 29th — meaning it’s not too soon to get your ticket. Destinations include the Caribbean, Bermuda, the Bahamas, the Panama Canal, and the Mexican Riviera. The longest cruises are seven nights, while the shortest are three.

What exactly goes on at a Halloween-themed Disney cruise, you might ask? Whether you like your Halloween ghoulish or would rather keep it about the goodies, there’s something for everyone: According to the Disney Parks site, annual “Halloween on the High Seas” activities include ghost stories, costume parties, festive treats, and seasonal movies. There’s even an “interactive movie experience” featuring A Nightmare Before Christmas (complete with a Jack and Sally meet-and-greet). Cruise ships are also decked out with spine-chilling decorations — including a magical Pumpkin Tree.

To sail the high seas with Disney Cruise Line, you can choose to board the Disney Magic in New York City; the Disney Wonder in San Diego, California; or the Disney Fantasy in Port Canaveral, Florida.

Disney already has one of the most spooktacular Halloween celebrations with its infamous Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and Halloween on the High Seas looks like just as much of a treat. October will be here before we know it, so in the meantime, we’ll be booking our tickets (and planning our costumes, of course). You can book your tickets here.
