Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are a famously adorable couple. But we don’t often see them together other than on Instagram. Which is probably why we’re wondering if Dax Shepard will be at the SAG Awards on Sunday to support Kristen Bell, who’s hosting, or if he’ll be chilling at home with the kids and watching her from afar. Nothing’s been announced or confirmed yet, but it’s pretty likely that this is an event worth getting a sitter for. After all, Bell will be the first-ever host of the SAG Awards ceremony. Plus, Bell and Shepard are all about holding each other up, all the time.

Another reason Dax Shepard will likely attend? Bell told Entertainment Tonight that he helped her prepare for the hosting duties. “Living with a writer is so great because you can just ask them, ‘Is this funny?’ [Dax] is a little bit of my secret weapon, but also one of my best friends is an amazing writer, so we brought her on the show. Monica Padman — she’s a comedian and helps me shape all these ideas and then I run it by Dax and then we hopefully have a show.”

Bell dished that the 2018 SAG Awards will be very female-focused.

The show will only have female presenters, and there will be an opening number about women in Hollywood. Additionally, the SAG organizers met with representatives from the Time’s Up initiative to talk about how awards shows can handle sexism along with sexual misconduct allegations against some of the nominees.

It’s going to be an empowering night for women in entertainment.

Hopefully, Dax Shepard will be in the audience to cheer for and support his wife!
