Cardi B is truly living her best life. She just gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Kulture, announced to the world that she’s happily married to Offset, and now she’s leading the nominees for the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. The “Bodak Yellow” singer did not just nab one, not two, but a total of 10 nominations, effectively making her the top contender at the awards show. Yeah, she making trophy moves.

Cardi’s nominations include Song of the Year and Best Collaboration, Best Choreography, Best Editing (together with Bruno Mars on the “Finesse” remix), Artist of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Hip Hop (“Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage), Best Latin (Jennifer Lopez’s “Dinero,” featuring DJ Khaled). Of course, she’s also nominated for the prized Video of the Year — for “Finesse” — in which she will be on a face-off with The Carters’ “APES**T,” Childish Gambino’s “This Is America,” Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left to Cry,” Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” and Drake’s “God’s Plan.”

Bruce Gilmer, Head of Music and Music Talent at Viacom, revealed that this year’s VMAs will be a step up from previous years.

From today until Friday, August 10th, fans will have a say on who should win the coveted awards. On the MTV VMA website, we have the chance to vote across eight different VMA categories, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, and the top prize Video of the Year.
