Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, didn’t have to look far for some fashion inspiration. Prince Charles‘ wife had a busy day on Wednesday, January 23rd, heading to the Jewish Care’s Brenmer Centre at Stephen Jewish Community Centre in London to celebrate its 80th anniversary before participating in a Cleanup UK event. Camilla packed everything she may need for the outings in a green purse that matched her skirt and jacket, and royal fans may notice the bag looks familiar.
Camilla carried the “Mini Venice” purse by DeMellier London, the same handbag Meghan Markle used during her pre-wedding appearance with Prince Harry at the Cardiff Castle in Wales last January. In fact, it appears they even have the $395 tasseled bag in the exact same color, forest green, even though it is available in 16 different shades.
Fellow celebs fans of the brand include Beyoncé, Emily Blunt, and Pippa Middleton. The accessory brand also supports a great cause: for every bag purchased, DeMellier funds a set of life-saving vaccines and treatments for a child in need. Since launching the initiative five years ago, they have funded over 45,000 vaccines.
Mireia Llusia-Lindh, designer at DeMellier, tells PEOPLE that they received an order from Kensington Palace, but didn’t know that it was Meghan who would step out with the bag. “I think it’s so great,” says Llusia-Lindh. “She’s such an incredible role model and such a great addition to the royal family because I think for her, she has such impact worldwide.”
The designer adds, “She’s sending a really powerful message to customers and to businesses about giving back, being sustainable—all those things that everyone has to be more aware of. It gives importance to it and makes it valued. Customers will demand it more and businesses will follow suit. She’s being so thoughtful in helping British brands with a conscience.”
In addition to sharing a taste in handbags, Meghan and Camilla have something else in common: their love of animals. The Duchess of Sussex visited the animal charity Mayhew last week, resulting in adorable photos of her cuddling with dogs—something Camilla is known to do. Charles’ wife is a royal patron of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, Brooke Hospital for Animals, the Animal Care Trust, and more.
