Brie Larson celebrated the end of shooting Captain Marvel in the most Brie Larson way ever
There is no bad news here, only good news, as Captain Marvel has officially finished filming. That’s good! Because even better news: that means we’re now so much closer to seeing Carol Danvers up on the big screen when the movie hits theaters in March 2019. And since you’ve gotta celebrate the wrap of your superhero movie somehow, the lady behind Captain Marvel, Brie Larson, took to Instagram to celebrate.
While she’s not spilling any sort of secrets or even revealing a behind-the-scenes look at her red, blue, and gold costume, Larson did celebrate in true — and also iconic — Brie Larson Style™. It should literally come as no surprise that the real-life heroine made everyone sign the movie’s clapper like it’s some school yearbook. OF COURSE Brie Larson did that, because she is 50% sunshine and 50% happiness (and 100% amazing).
Larson’s also included her own makeshift shooting schedule, complete with filming notes and crossed out days. July 7th is noted with a big HOME, and welcome home, Brie. Congrats on wrapping
what will probably be the best superhero movie ever made Captain Marvel.
Also, just wondering who drew the cute little Captain Marvel in the spaceship at the bottom of the calendar?
Larson isn’t the only one celebrating the end of filming, as Larson’s costar, Lashana Lynch (whose role in the film is actually still super under wraps…but it’s safe to guess she plays a badass lady) also posted her own photo. Completely with a Captain Marvel comic and a bottle of wine, she looks happy to be home, too.
Captain Marvel will follow Carol Danvers in the ’90s…and then somehow bring us to present day where she will be tasked with saving literally all the Avengers after they’re wiped out by Thanos (Infinity War was so fun). Also, considering what happens at the very end of Ant-Man and the Wasp, Carol’s also probably going to have to save
Paul Rudd Scott Lang from the quantum realm, too. You know, easy stuff.
Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8th, 2019.
