Blue Ivy Carter looked like a golden statuette at a recent gala in Los Angeles, oh, and Beyoncé was there, too. Kidding! The Knowles-Carter family stepped out to support Tina Knowles Lawson’s 2nd Annual Wearable Art Gala presented by her WACO Theater Center and Blue held her own in a head-to-toe golden ensemble that radiated as brightly as her spirit. The theme of the gala was Waco to Wakanda, so Beyoncé, Tina, and Blue interpreted that memo with golden garbs fit for a matriarchy.

Blue opted for a golden headdress and short dress with a full skirt that looked like a firework in the night sky. Beyoncé went for a more demure take on the royal theme in a thin golden headpiece, illusion dress, and va-va-voom gold train (golden mermaids are real, y’all). Tina kept things simple in a satin one-sleeved gown and cascading golden wrap.

Who run the world? The Carter-Knowles-Lawson girls.

Beyoncé and her mother were both acknowledged for their humanitarian work at the event, and it’s also the same night that Blue reportedly bid $19,000 during the art auction. You know, as 6-year-olds are wont to do. Blue spent her allowance money on an acrylic painting of Sidney Poitier but unfortunately lost the auction to Tyler Perry’s $20,000 bid. However, she later won a $10,000 art piece made from deconstructed law and medical books. Bless the Twitter gods, you can watch Blue’s auction moment here.

Anyone who has $19K to toss up at an auction deserves to be decked out in head-to-toe decadent gold.

Nothing but respect for our royal family.
