Mark your calendars, because HBO finally revealed when Big Little Lies Season 2 will premiere. As we all patiently awaited the final season of Game of Thrones on April 14th, the cable company released a new drama-filled trailer for the upcoming BLL season and revealed that the series is set to return on June 9th.

The Monterey Five will be back before we know it, and according to the new teaser video, we’re in for a wild ride this summer. It looks like it picks up right where Season 1 left off—the group of friends/frenemies help Nicole Kidman’s Celeste Wright push her abusive husband Perry (Alexander Skarsgård) down a flight of stairs. “We’re kidding ourselves if we think people will stop talking,” Kidman’s character tells Jane Chapman (Shailene Woodley), Renata Klein (Laura Dern), and Madeline Mackenzie (Reese Witherspoon).

And although they all promised to keep each other’s secret, Perry’s mom (played by Meryl Streep) comes to town to find out what happened to her son the night he died.

Zoe Kravitz (Bonnie Carlson), Adam Scott (Ed), James Tupper (Nathan), and Jeffrey Nordling (Gordon) will return for the seven-episode season as well, which (again) will premiere Sunday, June 9th on HBO at 9 p.m. ET.
