Bella Hadid’s birthday party was a ‘90s throwback in the best way
Bella Hadid celebrated her 23rd birthday on October 9th, and instead of a swanky soirée at a club, she had an afternoon party chock full of ’90s vibes, including pottery painting and a pizza-themed cake.
She rang in her big day in NYC with a lunch party, attended by family and friends. The group then spent the afternoon at Color Me Mine, a pottery painting studio where visitors can get crafty by decorating mugs, bowls, and beyond. And TBH, we’re fully inspired to have a pottery party for our next birthday.
The supermodel was joined by her siblings, Gigi and Anwar Hadid, as well as mom Yolanda Hadid and Anwar’s longtime girlfriend, Dua Lipa, among other pals. Based on the attendees’ Instagram Stories, the party looks like it was total blast. It turns out, you don’t necessarily need to throw a blowout birthday bash. Pottery painting can be just as fun, and it’s way more creative, IOHO.
Hadid even had a pizza cake, sent by “insane human being” designer Alexander Wang along with colorful cupcakes. And the group wore festive birthday hats, because no party is complete without a pointy paper hat, right?
Check out some pics shared by Hadid and her party guests and try not to get too much FOMO.
And, yes, there’s a photo of the pizza cake for good measure…because, obviously.
Here’s hoping that the birthday girl and her group had a fabulous time. Though they didn’t share any photos of the end results of their creative efforts, it certainly looks like they all had a ton of fun.
