The second Monday in October has long been named a national holiday known as Columbus Day to celebrate when Christopher Columbus landed in America. However, recently we’ve all started to take a harder look at history, and there have been major issues raised about Columbus’ treatment of Native Americans, so many have started to shift the focus to Indigenous Peoples Day, and we think that’s a fabulous reason to celebrate the vibrant indigenous cultures of our world.

Here are a series of beautiful images of Indigenous Peoples from around the world to celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day.
