So far, 2016 has seen way too many tragic events unfold. People are reeling from the Orlando shooting in an LGBTQ+ nightclub, and the recent sniper attack in Dallas. Therefore, the need for something positive is at an all-time high. That’s where Ariana Grande and Victoria Monet step in. These two singers have collaborated on a song that spreads a beautiful message, asking the world to work together in creating peace.

The song is appropriately titled, “Better Days,” and Ariana Grande announced it on Instagram with a caption that emphasized remembering how to love during this challenging time. “We believe we cannot fight hate with hate, only love” is a powerful sentiment in itself, but wait till you hear the song.

We’re glad to see that, even with all the terrible things happening in the world, there are people like Ariana Grande and Victoria Monet who are filling our hearts with meaning. We really hope that better days do come as soon as possible, and stay for good. In the meantime, Ariana and Victoria, feel free to create more music with meaningful messages, because there can never be enough of that.

As well as creating a song about finding inner peace, these ladies know how to spread positivity, whether through song, or with a simple quote from Victoria Monet to remember on all the good and not-so-good days.

All together now: let’s move forward with confidence and good vibes.
