Not a drill: Ariana Grande just announced a world tour AND teased a new album
To say that Ariana Grande has had a whirlwind year would be an understatement. She recently mourned the one-year anniversary of the Manchester arena bombing, got engaged, released an album, called off the engagement, and has been coping with the loss of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller. But it seems none of this has slowed the singer down when it comes to her passion: music.
While conversing with fans on Twitter on October 25th, she referred to music as her “lifeline.”
"it ain’t work when u love it r u kiddin!" she wrote to a fan who called her the "hardest working woman" in the industry. "i’m the luckiest girl in the world to be able to do this shit n express myself n heal this way .... my lifeline tbh thank U for listening n allowing this to be my life."
Even though Sweetener just came out in August, Grande seemed to reveal that she already has a name and a potential release date for a new album.
But if you still haven’t moved on from the incredibleness of Sweetener, Grande has good news…as in she just dropped the dates for the upcoming Sweetener world tour, which will kick off in March 2019.
At the Pencils of Promise gala on Wednesday, October 24th, Grande’s manager Scooter Braun said that Ariana is ready for the next big things to come.
"Ariana is an extremely strong, incredible person and she’s shown the world that. Whatever she’s going through, she has an amazing way of triumphantly coming back with incredible records that last forever...If she announces a tour, it means she’s ready," Braun divulged. "Ariana expresses herself through her music, and that will always be her therapy, her home. Stay tuned."
We’re staying tuned alright.
