Ariana Grande’s Sweetener Tour is breaking tons of records—and no, it’s not because it’s the most sought-after concert experience of the year. According to a new CNBC report, the “Thank U, Next” singer’s fans are registering to vote in record numbers ahead of the 2020 presidential election. In fact, the non-profit organization HeadCount—which is best known for registering voters at concerts—revealed Sweetener is “the most successful single artist” tour they’ve seen in more than a decade.

Everyone from One Direction’s Harry Styles to Chance the Rapper has worked with the organization in the past, but it claims it has never seen results like this.

The pop star’s political initiative is being heard loud and clear.

In March, Grande announced she had partnered with HeadCount to set up booths during her Sweetener Tour shows so fans can register to vote.

She suggested that her fans visit the booth to “use your voice and get your ‘thank u, next gen’ sticker” so that “each and every one of you makes a difference.”

Since HeadCount’s launch in 2004, it has signed up nearly 500,000 voters—17,000 of which were signed up just this year. Though it’s unclear how many people registered from Grande’s concerts alone, the organization did confirm it “registered twice as many voters during Sweetener as any other tour over the last three years.”

Considering Grande just added 19 additional dates to her tour, this means even more fans will be offered the opportunity to register to vote before the 2020 election—which is likely going to be one of the most important elections to date.
