Ariana Grande has had a wild year with very well-documented highs and lows. Happily, we’re marking her latest world tour as a definite high because Grande is registering fans to vote at all concert stops on her much-anticipated Sweetener tour. HeadCount, a non-partisan organization that believes in the power of democracy, announced that it would be helping fans register to vote throughout her tour, which just launched on Monday, March 18th in Albany, New York.

HeadCount is calling the program, “thank u next gen,” and a sign on the registration table at the Albany show said: “You like my rights? Gee thanks, just voted!” Considering that so many of Grande’s fans are Gen Z, this effort is really helpful because we need as many of their voices as possible with the 2020 presidential election looming on the horizon.

We love that Grande is doing this and we love how vocal she is about her liberal political inclinations. Grande told Elle over the summer that she will never stay quiet when it comes to politics.
