Ariana Grande dropped a new song and accompanying music video on April 1st with her best friend and long-time collaborator Victoria Monét, and fans are abuzz over one specific lyric. In the new song, titled “Monopoly,” Grande and Monét croon to lyrics that many believe to be Grande coming out as bisexual. The “7 Rings” singer sings, “I like women and men (yeah)” alongside her bestie.

Fans took to Twitter following the track’s release with their thoughts.

And now, it seems as though Grande has addressed the speculation herself…sort of.

In an April 1st tweet, Grande wrote, “i haven’t before and still don’t feel the need to now which is okay.”

And many of her fans completely understand where she’s coming from.

Grande has collaborated with Monét, who came out as bisexual herself in November 2018, on songs from her Thank U, Next album, including “7 Rings.”
