Ariana Grande shared a message about when it's okay to cut people out of your life, and it's a must-read
It’s been an eventful year for Ariana Grande—to say the least. Although her career is stronger than ever, she’s also dealt with the loss of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, as well as an extremely public breakup with her former fiancé, Pete Davidson. But Grande seems to be keeping her head high, and is even sharing some powerful words of advice to fans. In a March 21st Instagram story, the 25-year-old singer posted a passage written by author Horacio Jones, titled “Letting Someone Go.”
Jones goes on to say that the decision to leave someone behind isn’t “petty and resentful” if they’re behaving in a way that’s toxic.
The decision to end a relationship—or even take time and space away from someone you love—is never easy. But, as the above quote says, sometimes it’s the only way to heal. This is an important life lesson, and we’re taking notes.
