We’re in a self-love state of mind after watching pop star Ariana Grande deliver a powerful performance of new single “No Tears Left to Cry” in a surprise Coachella appearance to help kick off the festival’s second weekend. The pop superstar released the song just hours before taking the Coachella stage to belt out the anthem during DJ Kygo’s set.

Grande’s manager, Scooter Braun, first teased the performance on Twitter by asking the superstar what she was doing Friday night. Braun ended his mysterious tweet with a cactus emoji.

While Grande didn’t completely give away the surprise by replying to Braun’s tweet, she did post a couple selfies of her rocking some lavender hair in a helicopter alongside her mom and boyfriend Mac Miller, presumably en route to the Coachella stage. Shortly afterward, Grande twirled on stage in a tank top and skirt in a shade of purple that matched her iconic high ponytail.

The performance sparked emotional responses from fans online, who said Grande’s music has continued to lift and unite people in the aftermath of the bombings at Manchester Arena during one of her concerts in 2017. In fact, the accompanying music video to “No Tears Left to Cry” included the “Manchester bee” in honor of those who died in the explosions.

Obviously, we’re completely in love with the new single too.

After listening to “No Tears Left to Cry,” we know Grande is in a good place. Just look at these lyrics:

Right now, I’m in a state of mind
I wanna be in like all the time
Ain’t got no tears left to cry
So I’m pickin’ it up, pickin’ it up
I’m lovin’, I’m livin’, I’m pickin’ it up
So I’m pickin’ it up, pickin’ it up
I’m lovin’, I’m livin’, I’m pickin’ it up (oh, yeah)
