Anna Kendrick revealed why she recently had to apologize to Ryan Reynolds, and LOL forever
FYI, Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively are about to be your new favorite duo—that is, if they aren’t already. The ladies, who are currently promoting their upcoming film A Simple Favor (out in theaters September 14th), are straight-up serving us comedy gold every time they sit down for an interview together. And things get especially hilarious when they bring up Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds.
As you might already know, Kendrick and Reynolds have been involved in a “feud” for years now. The latest move? Kenrick apologizing for dissing Reynolds at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards.
Earlier this month, Kendrick won the Teen Choice Award for Choice Twit—aka favorite Twitter personality—and she took the opportunity to jokingly troll Reynolds, who was also nominated for the honor.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kendrick clarified that she later apologized to Reynolds.
Considering Reynolds is the King of Twitter, we don’t blame Kendrick for loving the fact that she beat him at his own game. After all, this isn’t the first time they’ve gone head-to-head.
In June, Lively posted on Instagram, claiming that her costar is “the hotter, female(r) version of my husband…so, would it reaaaally count as cheating??”
In the comments section, Kendrick wrote, “So glad we’re finally taking this public. I let Ryan have Deadpool, he can give me this,” to which Reynolds quipped back, “The most ambitious crossover event in history. I’ll miss you both. Tell my story.”
Let’s hope this “feud” never ends.
