Anjelica Huston, aka Morticia Addams, dressed like Wednesday Addams at the "Vanity Fair" Oscars party
Addams Family superfans, rejoice! Because one of our favorite Addams Family actresses just achieved a major fashion feat: Anjelica Huston (aka Morticia Addams) channeled Wednesday Addams at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party.
It’s like a cross-over event…but with lewks!
Wednesday — portrayed in the film by Christina Ricci, of course, is known for her iconic black dress, high white collar, and long braids. See exhibit A:
And Morticia is known for a (slightly) simpler aesthetic:
And now, Morticia as Wednesday…
SEE WHAT WE MEAN?! (Huston is pictured with fellow actor James Jagger fyi — yes, son of Mick Jagger).
We’re absolutely loving this nod to Huston’s spooky roots — whether it was intentional or not.
And if you’re wondering what else Huston has been up to lately besides wowing us with nostalgic ensembles, don’t worry — we got you. She’ll be voicing Magda in the upcoming animated movie Arctic Justice: Thunder Squad alongside the likes of Alec Baldwin and Heidi Klum. She’ll also be starring in the WWII drama Waiting For Anya about a woman who helped smuggle Jews to safety during the German occupation of France. It’s currently in pre-production.
And because we’re now nostalgic for both Morticia and Wednesday Addams, we thought we’d take a moment to bask in the following (hey, it’s Monday, and we need this).
Now excuse us while we go look for Wednesday Addams-inspired lewks of our own.
