Your new zodiac sign is the person who won Best Actress the year you were born—and Twitter is obsessed

If you’re like us, you look up your horoscope weekly (maybe even daily) to see what the stars have in store. It’s fascinating, mystical, and honestly just plain fun. But forget your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs, because this new alternative to the zodiac involves Academy Award winners for Best Actress.

Tess, a brilliant social media user from New Zealand, came up with the concept, suggesting that the woman who won the Oscar for Best Actress the year you were born most accurately represents your personality. Instead of simply labeling yourself a Scorpio or a Libra, now you can check to see if you’re more of a Meryl Streep, a Halle Berry, a Gwyneth Paltrow, or even a Cher. Amazing, right?

And we’re not the only ones who think so—Twitter is currently obsessed.

There may be no real astronomical explanation for this, but it’s fun AF. You can check out who won the year you were born here. (Note: the dates on Wikipedia correspond to the year of the film’s release. Meaning the winner was awarded the Oscar the following year. So, for example, if you were born in 1987, your person would be Cher).
