Jared Leto looks terrifyingly bonkers in the brand new “Suicide Squad” trailer

Now that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has opened to an, uh, interesting reception, it’s time to move on to the next movie coming from the DC Extended Universe (The DCEU, it’s a new thing). Coming late this summer, we’re getting Suicide Squad. And whatever your feelings about Batman v Superman are, push those aside. Because Suicide Squad looks AMAZING, and INTENSE, and we’re going to see it SO MANY TIMES.

There’s now a brand new international trailer out for the movie, and it’s all of those above things. While the first half of the trailer shows us a lot of footage we’ve already seen before, the second half veers into brand new Suicide Squad territory. Are you dying for a better look at Jared Leto’s Joker? Well, good. It’s here.

There’s also a tad bit more between Leto’s Joker and Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn. They’ve got ~something~ going on, but exactly what, it’s still anyone’s guess. In the comics, Harley is madly in love with the Joker, after treating him as a patient at Arkham Asylum. It looks like we’re going to see that happen in the movie, too. But how they get from point A to driving really fast in Harley’s pink car we’ll have to wait and see.
