OMG: There’s a new “Rogue One” trailer and we cannot handle the excitement
Guys. Guys. There’s a new Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer and we cannot stop screaming! This TV Spot, called “Together,” gives us all sorts of feels. For example, Felicity Jones, who plays Jyn Erso, gets some very important lines, underscored by a piano version of the famous Star Wars theme. And the action, as always, looks amazing. Seriously, we won’t be surprised if Rogue One takes all the SFX awards, based on the trailers and TV spots alone.
How can you hear this Rogue One trailer and not tear up?
"The empire is building a terrible weapon... I need your help. We can stop them. This is your chance to make a real difference. We have hope. Rebellions are built on hope. Are you with me?"
Yes, Jyn Erso, we are.

Good news: this latest TV spot is just one of the new goodies released for Rogue One fans. As reported by SlashFilm, “Two wide banners also popped up on the Star Wars UK Twitter account today with the unit designated as Rogue One charging at Imperial troops in the waters of Scarif.”

Even those of us with the most basic of Photoshop skills can stitch those together for an epic image.
For those of you who live under a rock, Rogue One tells the story of the rebels who stole the plans for the Death Star. These rebels make the events of Star Wars: A New Hope possible.
Deadline reports the film’s logline as follows:
“An all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves."
We cannot wait to watch this movie on December 16th! Seriously, Lucasfilm, take our money now.
