Got a secret. Can you keep it? It’s the new ‘PLL’ opening
When Pretty Little Liars returns for Season 6B (on Freeform, y’all) things are going to be different. We’ll find ourselves back in Rosewood five years in the future, and Spencer now has bangs! That’s not the only thing that’ll be different. For the rest of Season 6, heck, probably the rest of the SHOW, they’ll be five Liars in the opening credits, and we’ve got the first look at it.
Seeing as how Alison is very much alive, and has been this whole time, she’s joining Aria, Emily, Spencer, and Hanna for the opening sequence. All the girls are still dressed in black dresses, and they’re still standing over a coffin — but now we’re no longer like, OMG Alison could be inside. That’s like, so three seasons ago.
Also with the opening, Aria is no longer doing the “shhh!” This season, ALL the girls will get a chance at reminding us that two can keep a secret as long as one of them is dead. The brand new promo features Emily doing the honors, and the Liars will, supposedly, take turns at the start of every episode. One time it could be Alison, the next Hanna, and the duties could revert back to Aria, too (maybe one day in our PLL dreams it could even be Caleb).
Everything else is exactly the same, but this still makes us ridiculously excited for some brand new episodes. No, we’re not really over the whole “CeCe is A” thing, and we’ll probably never be over it, but this is PLL we’re talking about. When one mystery is solved, another 600 pop up.
