All the new streaming movies and shows Netflix is blessing us with in December
With Thanksgiving weekend around the corner, we’re thinking non-stop about the holidays. The food, the decor, the sales —and most importantly, the movies and shows we’re going to binge-watch. Lucky for us, the holidays have come a little early — Netflix has replenished its streaming service with a BUNCH of new titles. Here is everything new coming to Netflix in December, and when we say everything — we mean it.
Highlights of the incredible list include the original, A Very Murray Christmas which features the man of mystery himself hosting a holiday party that goes awry. The special was directed by previous Murray-collaborator Sophia Coppola, and is sure to boast hipster cred as well as an insane amount of special guest stars (including Amy Poehler and George Clooney!).
On Christmas Day itself fans of the British mystery series Black Mirror can revel in a special, “White Christmas” episode in between bites of holiday ham. Other holiday-specific shows include A Christmas Star (2015), The Magic Snowflake (2013), and Santa’s Apprentice (2010).
Of course, if you’re tapped out of the Santa stuff, perhaps the new Adam Sandler-fronted original netflix film The Ridiculous 6 will strike your fancy. The Western-themed farce includes Sandler’s usual crowd of cronies, with special additions by a dopey-slack-jawed Taylor Lautner (the only kind I want from here on out), as well as an always-welcome Terry Crews and an always-terrifying Danny Trejo.
