Yes there are new Girl Scout Cookie flavors, and yes we know what they are

Let’s just go ahead and declare 2015 the Year of the Girl Scout Cookie, because we deserve a year like that. Plus there is some excellent Girl Scout Cookie news that we needed to share with you ASAP. Not only will you soon be able to purchase Girl Scout Cookies online, which is already incredibly GREAT, but now, there is news of two brand new Girl Scout Cookie flavors dropping in for us to eat by the box.

First up, there’s Rah-Rah-Raisin, which is the cutest name for a cookie in the history of names for cookies. The cookie is — you probably guessed it — an oatmeal raisin cookie. I feel like for the most part, oatmeal raisin cookies get a bad rap because they are often mistaken for chocolate chip cookies, and there’s nothing more disappointing than thinking you’re biting into a chocolate chop cookie, only to find that it’s not a chocolate chip cookie. We’ve all been there. I, however, really love a nice warm oatmeal raisin cookie, and the Girl Scout twist on it has got an added extra bonus: yogurt chips. Not just any yogurt chips, though, Greek yogurt chips.

The second new addition to the Girl Scout roster is Toffee-tastic, which is — you guessed this one, too — a toffee cookie. Toffee-tastic also boasts the honor of being gluten free! Also, bad news for Toffee-tastic, they’re only available “in select Girl Scout council markets for as long as supplies last.” Which means if you need these cookies you better act fast.

So go forth and grab these cookies before they disappear. You can easily do that by using the Girl Scout Cookie app, which is in fact a real app you can put on your phone. It has an “improved cookie finding algorithm” to help you locate the closest Girl Scout selling cookies. The website actually states that you just “install the free app on your iOS or Android phone or mobile device and press Find Cookies Now!” Basically a foolproof way to find cookies.
