“New Girl’s'” homage to the “People vs. O.J. Simpson” is the best thing you’ll see today
New Girl aired their Christmas episode Tuesday night, and while it was full of tidings and good cheer, we actually have to talk about Halloween. Before Jess and the rest of her loft gang could get to swapping Secret Santa presents, first we had to flash back a few months to the night before the holiday season — aka, Halloween. For Halloween this year, New Girl went as The People vs. O.J. Simpson, and it is nothing short of ?.
While we sadly don’t get to see them out trick-or-treating (pause for a sec, because they are all grown adults, out trick-or-treating, and also dressed as the characters from a TV show based on a court case from 1994), they’ve pulled in a good haul of candy. And moments later, Jess declares that it is now November 1st, and Christmas has officially begun!
That leads Jess, Nick, Schmidt, Winston, and CeCe to try and figure out their holiday plans…all while dressed as Marcia Clark, Robert Kardashian, Robert Shapiro, Christopher Darden, and Judge Lance Ito.
TOO GOOD.
