A new teaser for the final season of “New Girl” is here — and just like us, Jess refuses to believe it’s over

All good things must come to an end, and that includes New Girl. After six beautiful years together with Jess, Nick, Schmidt, Winston, Cece, Furguson the Cat, and sometimes Coach and Reagan, it’s time to pack up the Loft and move onto bigger and better things. And just like us, Miss Jessica Day refuses to believe it’s time to move onto bigger and better things, as signified by her repeated “no, no, no, no, noooo,” in this brand new teaser.

Same Jess, same.

When the final season of the show picks up, we’re roughly three years in the future, and now Schmidt and Cece have a little BABY. While we don’t see her in this first trailer, her presence is certainly felt because Cece is drinking wine and coffee together, and combination that doesn’t necessarily sound all that great, but when you’ve got a three-year-old, it’s probably really great.

Elsewhere, it’s clear that it’s time to say goodbye to the Loft, because there are moving boxes everywhere. And also Nick gets punched in the face. When Nick gets punched in the face, you know it’s time to call it a day.

Hey, speaking of Nick, last we saw him and Jess together, they were YES, together, making out in the building’s elevator. We don’t have any reason to believe they’re not together three years in the future — and besides, they just got back from a book tour for the Pepperwood Chronicles (!!!!!!!). So can we hope for a happy ending for these two? Does Nick enjoy wearing button-up shirts now? Will Winston every stop wearing loud prints?

AND WHERE IS FURGUSON? As the trailer jokes, they’re all “friends, roommates, idiots till the end,” thought we’re still not ready to say goodbye. The final season of New Girl kicks off on Fox April 10th.
