Instagram’s new face filters are legit addictive

Instagram queens and kings, your summer selfies are about to be next level, because Instagram just rolled out new face filters and they’re perfect for the start of vacation season.

If you’re already addicted to face filters but are bored of the ones available to you, these Instagram face filters will get you ready for summer with the click of a smartphone button…trust us.

Here’s how to use Instagram’s new face filters, which you can get with the latest version of the app (that’s version 10.21 and higher for iOS in the Apple App Store and for Android in Google Play, according to Instagram’s press release.)

There are two new filters, and both are totally awesome. The “road trip” filter lets you rock seriously cool shades behind the dashboard of your car, and when you add a friend, you’ll see a rainbow appear above your heads. Then there’s the “sleep mask” filter, for when you’re tired after a long day on the road and are ready for some well-deserved shut-eye.

Like all Instagram face filters, these new ones work with Boomerang, Rewind, and other Instagram video formats, and you can send them directly to your pals or add them to your Instagram Story.

If that’s not cool enough, Instagram also released new stickers in honor of Father’s Day, so you can shout out the important guy in your life to celebrate his big day.

You could even take a selfie with dad this weekend, using both the stickers and the new filters. The possibilities are endless.
