There’s an amazing new Cadbury egg flavor — but you can only find it in Canada
Ever since Kraft changed the recipe of Cadbury Creme Eggs Cadbury Creme Eggs, loyal fans have been completely torn. The classic Easter candy just isn’t the same anymore without the smooth, milky flavor of the chocolaty treat.
But there’s still hope out there for Cadbury Creme Egg lovers. Apparently, a new flavor of the Easter favorite hit Canada last year, and people are really, really into it.
Ready to hear it? If you’re not Canadian, prepare for some heartbreak:
OREO.
That’s right: Oreo Cadbury Creme Eggs are a thing, but you’ll have to travel across the northern border to get ’em.
The secret treats were brought to Refinery29’s attention via Instagram user @junkbanter.
The cream in the Oreo-flavored eggs looks similar to the cream inside a regular Oreo, with little pieces of chocolate cookie suspended throughout. Mmm…we’re salivating just thinking about them.
And apparently, they taste just as good as they sound. According to @junkbanter:
"These were an easy and convincing 10/10, even besting the new Reese's Eggs I posted about the other day."
Dang, that’s some high praise!
Of course, there are already caramel and chocolate creme options out there, but these sound like by far the most genius idea. BRB, booking ourselves a flight to the Canada, and bringing along an empty suitcase.
Ugh, when will Cadbury egg season be here already??
