A new “Beauty and the Beast” trailer is here, and it will make your week a tiny bit better

It’s safe to say it’s been a bit of a tough week in Hollywood with the deaths of screen icons Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher, as well as musician George Michael. To improve your week a little bit, we have some exciting news about one of the most anticipated movies of 2017, Beauty and the Beast. With just under three months until the live action film is released in theaters, Disney has dropped an extended television spot that should have all Disney fans squealing with excitement. While the full-length trailer was released last month, the new TV spot, gives a greater glimpse of some of the most iconic moments from the original film.

The spot offers an extended look at the first meeting between Belle (Emma Watson) and the Beast (Dan Stevens), who exchanges her freedom for that of her father, Maurice (Kevin Kline). As with the first released full-length trailer, the new trailer teases some of the classic Beauty and the Beast moments, like Belle meeting Mrs. Potts (Emma Thompson), Cogsworth (Ian McKellen), and Lumiere (Ewan McGregor), as well as the outdoor scene where “Something There” is sung. We also can’t forget the extended look at ~THAT~ famous ballroom scene and the gold dress!

With a cast containing Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as LeFu, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Audra McDonald as Garderobe, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, in addition to Watson, Stevens, Thompson, McKellen, Kline, and McGregor, we can’t help but get excited with every new sneak peek.

Director Bill Condon has assured us that the film plays homage to the original. He told Bustle,

"We came at it with such an equal love of the movie that I think you can only use your own kind of criteria as a guide. It's [about] making sure that we're not betraying something."

We have complete faith in Condon and the cast and we seriously CANNOT wait until March for the film to come out.
