We have more rad ‘Beauty and the Beast’ casting news, everyone!

Earlier this year, we were SUPER pumped to hear that the amazing, strong, wonderful Emma Watson is going to be our Belle in Disney’s live action version of Beauty and the Beast.

We’re actually just really excited about ALL of the choices Disney has made for this film: Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, and Josh Gad as Le Fou? Um, yes, we are going to see this in theaters the second it comes out, because we totally approve.

And now, we’ve got some more killer casting news. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tony Award-winning actress and Private Practice star Audra McDonald is going to be Garderobe, the adorably bubbly wardrobe that resides in Belle’s room, who used to be the lady-in-waiting before the curse was placed upon the castle.

We already know Audra’s totally got the chops for this role: she’s won six, count ’em, six Tonys for her past Broadway performances in Porgy and Bess, Lady Day In Emerson’s Bar and Grill, A Raisin In The Sun, Ragtime, Carousel, and others. And by the way, she won three of those awards by age 28.

We also know that Audra is a versatile singer, as evidenced by her performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon SINGING Yahoo Answers.

Yeah, she’s amazing.

And luckily, we’ll be able to hear her fabulous pipes in action for Beauty and the Beast, because she’ll be singing a solo as part of “Human Again”—a song that was cut from the 1991 movie but added again for the special addition DVD 11 years later.

So much excitement. We can’t wait for this movie to come out so we can see Disney’s fab cast in action!
