Good news — one of the greatest Paul Rudd movies ever made is coming to Netflix in October
As the resident Paul Rudd Historian at HelloGiggles, it is with great joy that I can inform you that another Paul Rudd movie will be added to Netflix’s roster come October. Right now, if you’re looking for your Rudd fix, you’re limited to watching the Netflix original, The Fundamentals of Caring. Or maybe you just want to watch all the Mike Hannigan episodes of Friends. (And you should.)
But come October, soon you can watch I Love You, Man to your hearts content. We love you, Netflix.
In case you’ve forgotten the joy that is I Love You, Man, the movie stars Paul Rudd and Jason Segel as mismatched best friends — Rudd’s Peter doesn’t have any guy friends and he’s about to get married, while Segel’s Sydney is a lovable loner with some questionable hobbies. The two hit it off, and also get into a fight with OG Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno.
This movie is also the birth of “slappin’ da base.”

Also, “totes magotes.”

It’s cool to admit if you’ve been waiting your whole life for this movie to hit Netflix, and honestly, same.
I Love You, Man is just one of the many titles coming to Netflix in October. The full list of what’s new (and what’s leaving ?) will hit the internet Wednesday morning. Until then, keep practicing those Rush songs.
