The poster for Netflix’s “Anne” is so beautiful, it belongs in a museum

Do you ever see an image that is so stunning, it instantly transports you somewhere else in your imagination? That’s the kind of feeling you get gazing at the first poster for Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of Anne of Green Gables series, simply and perfectly titled Anne.

Just like the show’s title, the poster is so simple and perfect. Clear some space on your wall and/or desk, because you’re going to want to prominently display this for everyone to see.

The redhead you see here is Amybeth McNulty, who plays the titular Anne. (And good thing were already planning on making flower crowns and braids the go-to look for summer; Anne just beat us to it.) Amybeth is also just as excited as us for the premiere of the show.

"It is wonderful to have so much support from viewers and seeing them tweet and post about the show!" She explained to HelloGiggles over email. "It's still absolutely absurd to see people drawing me or thanking me for making them cry! I mean, I'm just little old Amybeth!"

She might be “little old Amybeth” but she’s our ticket into Green Gables.

There are actually some lucky souls on the planet who have already watched all of Anne (Ahem, those in Canada with CBC), and even though Amybeth has already watched the episodes, she plans to binge them with the rest of us.

"I am hopefully going to be gathering as many friends and close family that I can [and build] a pillow fort in the living room, and seeing how many of them I can make cry while watching Anne!!"

What a coincidence, that’s our Anne binge plan, too!! Amybeth, if you’re reading this right now, you’re totally invited to come and hang out in our pillow fort. We plan to make in on May 12th — the day Anne drops on Netflix.
