Neil Patrick Harris said loving Disney comes naturally to his children and we totally understand
Neil Patrick Harris is a truly magical human being. ICYMI, he’s an actor, singer, comedian, the world’s most adorable dad (along with husband David Burtka). Plus, he’s also awww-inspiringly in love with all things Disney. Hearing him gush about the most magical place on earth (and all the fun stories that go along with it) are seriously giving us life.
That’s why we are obsessed with Neil Patrick Harris’ interview about his kids loving Disney as much as their parents.
While talking to Us Weekly, the entertainer admitted that his little ones come by their Disney love naturally.
He confessed,"If I wasn’t an actor person, I would have probably tried to be a Disney Imagineer. They combine so many things that I love — creativity, architecture, secrets, and amusing and entertaining people and families."
Harris lived the dream for a day last Tuesday, when he served as master of ceremonies at Anaheim’s Walt Disney Family Museum Gala to honor legendary Imagineer Marty Sklar. And he says he and his hubbie have passed on this reverence for Disney to their own little Mouseketeers, 6-year-old twins Harper and Gideon.
It helps that, since Harris hosts the annual Christmas Candlelight Processional at Walt Disney World, the family gets to spend the holidays at Disney.
"Our kids have grown up with theme parks as part of their DNA, and that makes me incredibly happy because that was what I got to do as a kid as well, he shared.
The actor glowed while talking more about his children, saying, "Harper’s still all-girl and she’s very into all the princesses. Gideon’s into Star Wars, so when we go in December, there’s a whole new Star Wars land in there, so he’s very excited about that. He got to do Jedi training last time, and he was on the younger end for that, so now maybe that Padawan has grown up a bit."
Is that some Bambi-level cuteness right there or what? Hopefully Harris and family have another magical holiday season this year.
