On National Writing Day, the #WhyIWrite hashtag is giving us ALL the inspiration

So, first of all Happy National Writing Day, everybody! Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s figure out how we’re going to celebrate this most momentous of occasions. Yes, of course you should steal a few minutes (or hours, if you can grab ’em) sometime today to write something that’s not a to-do list or a text message. But if you’re having trouble getting inspired/motivated, the good people behind National Writing Day (that would be The National Writing Project, The National Council of Teachers of English, and the Teaching Channel) have created the hashtage #whyIwrite to get us all inspired to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard, or chalk to sidewalk, or however you want to get your words out into the world).
