Today, April 11th, is National Pet Day (ahem…the best holiday ever). We’re taking the day to treat our pets like royalty — more so than we already do — and to share our love for them on all the social media. To really dive into National Pet Day celebrations head-first, we scoured the internet and found some of the best National Pet Day puns that we’ll spring on our friends when they’re least expecting it. Sorry, pals, but in our world, everyone celebrates National Pet Day whether they want to or not.
Of course, treating your pets is a wonderful way to show them your love on National Pet Day. But reaching out to homeless pets in your community can really make a meaningful impact. Call up your local animal shelter to see if you can volunteer your time or donate pet supplies. You can also donate funds to your local Humane Society, SPCA, or the national Humane Society and/or the ASPCA.
