These cats can’t handle the fact that today is National Cat Day
It’s National Cat Day? Cats DID NOT know that! Seriously, someone could have given them the heads up so they could have prepared for this day ahead of time. Now there’s so much to do to deal with this news, like react with cat expressions. It’s awesome that humans are celebrating a day that should really be 365 days a year, but next time, just let ALL the cats know so they don’t have to make the following faces:
“Whaaaaat? It’s today? You’ve got to be kidding me.”
“Oh. My. God. So, you’re just telling me this now?”
“Huh? What’s a cat?”
“You got me a gift? Um, I got you a gift too but I ordered it online which is why it’s not here yet.”
“You have the gall to tell me it’s cat day ON CAT DAY? What is wrong with you?”
“You’re tall.”
“Oh brother. I thought it was next week.”
“Yes! Yes! Yes! I knew it! So what did I win?”
“It’s what day? Oh dear. I’m not sure I like the sound of this.”
“Ha! I’m a cat so that’s perfect!”
“Cat day? Does that mean you’re going to eat me now? I just realized I have to go get something in the other room.”
“I think I speak on behalf of all cats when I say that we’re thrilled to have our own day, we just wish we knew about it a little sooner. Now I’ll open the floor to questions. One at a time please. Yes, you. What’s your question?”
