The hands-down, most adorable animals in National Geographic’s photo contest

The winners of the National Geographic photo contest were announced yesterday, and they are pretty incredible. Naturally, with any Nat Geo-related contest, there were tons of adorable animal submissions.

I follow Nat Geo on Instagram, so I’m already borderline obsessed with the gorgeous pictures they post daily, but nothing makes me happier than a collection of cute animal pictures. I’ve rounded up some of the most adorbs photos, and hopefully they make you as happy as they make me.

It wasn’t easy narrowing down the 4,473 entries, but it had to be done. Take a look:
