This museum will bake your personalized message into a fortune cookie, and the possibilities are endless

A New York City museum is making a lot of fortune cookies, and they want you to write the fortunes inside.

The Museum of Food and Drink (MOFAD) is currently hosting an exposition called Chow: Making The Chinese American Restaurant. The exposition explores the history of Chinese-American cuisine, which has developed into something all it’s own.

“Chinese Americans were once told they did not belong in the United States. They went on to create one of the country’s most beloved cuisines,” wrote the museum on its website.

Inside the museum, you’ll find a 1,500-pound, continuously operating fortune cookie machine. Anyone who wants to submit a message can do so via MOFAD’s website, Twitter, or in person.

As long as the message isn’t NSFW, the museum will bake the message into a cookie that will end up in the hands of a lucky guest.
